Second online class now available (Light up your Landscape)

One of my most popular classes over recent years has been 'Light up your Landscape'. I have made many quilts using these tiling techniques. I love the way that using small tiles of colour and texture add a feeling of light and radiance to the design. Every quilt made by students in this workshop has been beautiful and unique. It is an effective and useful technique that you can incorporate in to your own quilt making to help create perspective and movement.

This is the second class now available online and there are the options of two patterns that can be printed. For those who want to design their own pattern, there is a section on design and information on colour choices. This workshop is suitable for everyone, including beginners and experienced quilters.

Just recently I completed a quilt for Northcott fabrics to highlight one of their new ranges of fabric 'Northern Lights'. I thoroughly enjoyed constructing the quilt using rectangular tiles to show a beautiful play of colour and light in the sky.
