Panama Cruise - January 2018

Not long now until we head off on our Panama Adventures. For those participants in the' Distinctive Doorways' class, I have designed a special doorway based on the colourful doorways in Mexico. I will provide the pattern for this one day class, so bring suitable bright coloured fabrics to make your own version.

There is a kit available for the 'Light up your landscape' class and the 'Shades of the Forest' class. These kits contain all the fabrics needed for the front of the quilt and matching variegated thread. The fabrics are hand painted or hand dyed. For the 'Light up your landscape' class you will still need to bring your sewing supplies, thin batting, backing fabric, Steam A Seam 2 Lite and freezer paper. For the 'Shades of the Forest' class, you do need to bring white or light coloured fabric for the trunks, backing fabric, batting, Steam A seam 2 Lite, Wonder Under, freezer paper and sewing supplies. The cost of the kits is $45, which is payable in cash on board at the start of class. Please let me know if you want to order a kit.

Check that you have packed your rotary cutter, ruler and medium size mat.
